The festive season is the time to be with family and there's no time for any family squabbles. The Beckhams clearly havn't gotten that memo. All still isn't well in the Beckham household. There's still exists a rift between Brooklyn and the rest of the family. This time around, Brooklyn has blocked his family from his Instagram page. This stems from his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

Confusion initially arose when fans noticed that David and Victoria no longer appeared to follow their eldest son on the platform. However, their youngest son, Cruz Beckham, was quick to shut down speculation that his parents had unfollowed Brooklyn. Posting on Instagram Stories, the 20-year-old clarified: "Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I."
A source said, "David and Victoria are understandably heartbroken by what’s gone on here. This came out of the blue for them, and in the lead-up to Christmas when families are supposed to come together, it’s devastating."
They added, "All they want is for things to be fixed but with every week they just seem to be getting worse. Unsurprisingly, Cruz and Romeo are furious that Brooklyn would make such a public attack. As for Brooklyn, he wants things fixed in private and not played out on social media, although his actions have resulted in quite the opposite."
According to sources close to the family, the move is seen as the clearest sign yet of how strained relations have become.
Friends of David and Victoria insist they would never cut ties with Brooklyn, describing the block as deeply upsetting and symbolic of a wider breakdown in communication. It's understood that the family has not spoken directly for several months.
Brooklyn has since taken a new swipe at his estranged family as he posed with his in-laws this Christmas amid a bitter feud. The hot sauce entrepreneur and wife Nicola slipped into matching festive pyjamas and posed with his parents Nelson and Claudia at their lavish home.
Tensions are believed to have been simmering since spring, with reports pointing to disagreements involving Brooklyn’s brother, Romeo and his former relationship with Kim Turnbull; who had previously been linked to Brooklyn.
The couple aren’t seeing eye to eye with the Beckhams; the fractious dynamic stemming from a row over Nicola’s choice of wedding dress back in 2022.
Though they have occasionally put on a united front since then, most recently last Boxing Day, the Beckham-Peltz’s have snubbed big family moments since – including David’s 50th birthday celebrations and his knighthood – leading to the rift deepening. They also missed Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show and her recent Netflix documentary premiere.
They also didn’t invite any of Brooklyn’s relatives to their vow renewals, making it clear the familial unrest is very much real. Overnight, Nicola wrote on Instagram: "We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness."
The foursome posed in front of a Christmas tree in one picture, while another saw Nicola perched on Brooklyn’s lap at a huge dining table. Brooklyn beamed wearing a backwards baseball cap and held his wife close, as she showed off her midriff in a Christmassy vest top.
It comes hot on the heels of Brooklyn showing off his latest tattoo tribute to Nicola. The aspiring chef — who last week blocked his parents on social media — captioned the snap of his inked hand: "My everything."
In return, David and Victoria didn't attend Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal ceremony in New York earlier this year. As the festive season approaches, the separation looks set to continue.
Brooklyn, 26, got the needle with his family in May after a series of rows, including ones over money. Insiders said the rift made it a more difficult Christmas for David, 50 and Victoria, 51, who spent the day with their sons Romeo, 23 and Cruz, 20 and their daughter, Harper, 14, in the Cotswolds.
Despite the visible fallout, those close to David and Victoria stress that the door remains open. “They will never stop loving Brooklyn,” one source said, adding that following his life online had been a quiet way of showing support - a connection that now appears to have been cut.
One source said: “David and Victoria live in hope that they can patch things up with Brooklyn.” A family snap online showed ex-England captain David with Romeo and Cruz in Santa hats. David was also seen sawing the base off a Christmas tree, while Romeo raised a glass of red wine. The ex-England ace and Victoria enjoyed a festive slow dance, showcasing their unwavering romantic connection.
A friend of U.S.A.-based Brooklyn and actress Nicola, 30, said: "He has tributes to her inked all over. "He loves to show his affection that way. He has asked his family to leave them alone. They just want to get on with their lives." Before sharing the tattoo pic, Brooklyn posted a snap promoting his Cloud 23 hot sauce.
In what his followers saw as a message to his parents, he captioned it: "Sorry I cannot hear you, I’m kinda busy."
It's been revealed that Brooklyn recently blocked his parents after his mom "liked" a video of him cooking a chicken earlier this month. Spice Girl Posh’s move sparked a flood of comments from fans urging Brooklyn to build bridges with his parents. However, the public display of affection reportedly annoyed him.
Victoria previously extended another olive branch before Christmas by sharing a video of the children’s Christmas stockings, including Brooklyn. His brother, Cruz, also tried to reach out through social media. He shared a throwback picture on Instagram of himself with Brooklyn, his other brother, Romeo and dad David.
David and Victoria posted a video of themselves dancing to Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb's song, Guilty, with the pointed lyrics: 'We've got nothing to be sorry for'. Victoria penned: "David and Victoria giving their very best Barry and Barbra on Christmas Day xxx kisses from us both xx @davidbeckham."
Coincidence or not, the post comes after it was claimed Brooklyn wants his famous parents to apologise to him and his wife Nicola Peltz amid their row. It seems they might be waiting a while.
The eldest Beckham boy has remained in the U.S.A. with Nicola, sharing his own pointed post on social media in which she insisted his wife is "his everything" after blocking his family on Instagram. Brooklyn wants his parents to apologise to Nicola.
A source claimed earlier this week: "There was a long briefing war where it was open season on Nicola. They (David and Victoria) targeted Nicola and thought that they could do so without consequences."
"You can't inflict that much pain and damage on two people and then expect to pick up the relationship via a public social media post. The person who caused the pain does not get to decide when they declare it is over."
"If they want to make up then they need to apologise and acknowledge the pain caused and make changes to show that it is not going to happen again."
Elsewhere, pictures from the Beckham Christmas album showed Victoria posing next to her son, Cruz, while another showed David doting on daughter, Harper, as they shared a sweet embrace. They were also joined for their 'family Christmas' by Victoria's parents Jackie and Anthony and David's mother Sandra.
Brooklyn has shared a glimpse of what he got up to on Christmas Day in America - playing tennis with American pro player, Reilly Opelka, as well as Nicola's brother, Bradley.
Getting some light exercise in sunny LA, Brooklyn was seen giving it his best shot on the court alongside Reilly. A short clip of the match was shared to both Bradley and Brooklyn's Instagram Stories.
It came after Brooklyn declared Nicola his 'everything' in a loved-up Instagram post on Christmas Eve, after blocking his family on the platform. It also comes just a few hours after Brooklyn revealed the famous sportsman he spent Christmas with - after falling out with his dad David and blocking his whole family on Instagram.
He shared a snap of him and the heiress, 30, holding hands while celebrating the festive season with her billionaire parents in Miami, Florida. He captioned the post: 'My Everything' in what appeared to be another defiant display, shortly after 'hitting back' at his estranged family with a thinly veiled barb.
Brooklyn raised eyebrows earlier this week with the video, shared just days after brother Cruz broke his silence on Brooklyn blocking the entire family on Instagram. In the clip posted to his Cloud23 hot sauce TikTok account, Brooklyn is seen strolling through a city as Lady Gaga's Telephone plays in the background.
Notably, he selected the lyric 'sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy' to accompany the footage, highlighting the line in bold text. He then moved on to promote his hot sauce, leaving fans to speculate over the timing and message behind the post.
In recent weeks, David has appeared to offer a public olive branch to his son, in an apparent bid to put an end to their very public family feud. The former footballer had shared a throwback picture of himself with Brooklyn and his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz.
Cruz also made sure his brother knew he was thinking of him by sharing a sweet picture of the pair with brother Romeo on the beach in Brazil. Brooklyn was seen wrapping his arm around his youngest brother Cruz as they posed on the beach.
Meanwhile, back in the UK, David, Romeo and Cruz looked merry as they donned Santa hats ahead of Christmas. Despite the bitter family feud, the footballer and Victoria have put on a brave face and continued the festivities with their other children.
After David was seen cutting down this year's Christmas tree, the Beckhams enjoyed Christmas Eve together with Cruz even serving up cocktails. David could be seen putting on a merry display as he and his sons donned Santa hats and embraced each other.
Brooklyn's snub extends to close family friends, Gordon and Tana Ramsay and he won't be attending the imminent wedding of their daughter, Holly, to Olympic swimmerm Adam Peaty, on 27 December.
On Monday, Victoria appeared to be nonplussed as she celebrated the festive season with her team. The former Spice Girl was filmed downing celebratory shots with employees from her fashion and beauty brand after announcing: "Cheers to me! Enough about me what do you guys think about me?"
She then tucked into a Christmas dinner with her hair clips while joking that she wanted extra lights on her as after her recent Netflix documentary she realised she looks best in a 'room full of light'. Captioning the clip, which appeared to be lifted from a recent promotional film, she wrote: "It's a tough job being me, but someone's gotta do it! Some unseen footage from the recent @victoriabeckhambeauty Creative Director series. Happy holidays everyone!"
Hours later, Nicola Peltz - who has also unfollowed her husband's immediate family - returned to Instagram with her own celebratory post. Nicola shared a photo of her billionaire father Nelson behind a candle arrangement placed in their menorah, with the accompanying caption: "Happy Hanukkah from our family to yours."
It's now possible that Brooklyn suddenly cut final ties with his parents and three siblings after Victoria liked a post of his about roasting a chicken. The influencer posted another of his regular cooking videos on Instagram last week as he showed his 16 million followers how to brine a chicken.
If there's a time not to incite any kind of feud, it's Christmas. It's a joyous occasion. I can only guess that Jesus would be rolling in his grave if he were to see what's happening in the Beckham family.
On the surface, it seems like the Beckhams, apart from Brooklyn, is trying to mend the fences. Brooklyn isn't doing a thing to try and solve matters. Ergo, I find it ridiculous that he's the one expecting an apology. To me, it should be the other way around.
Brooklyn, it looks like, is trying to ghost the rest of the family. Simultaneously, he's just rubbing salt in the wounds by showing just how happy he is without his family. I find the actions by Brooklyn to be quite inappropriate. Separation from family members can be heartbreaking - especially for the parents.
